Do You Know For Sure That If You Died Today, You Would Go To Heaven?
The Bible says you can know for sure: " These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye might know that ye have eternal life." (John 5:13 )
If you want eternal life in heaven, you must...
Believe that you need to be saved (born again). "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3) "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
Believe that you cannot work your way to heaven. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9)
Believe that God loves you and offers you the gift of eternal life. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."(John 3:16)
Receive Jesus Christ as your Savior. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."(John 1:12)
Do you want to go to heaven when you die? Do you by faith believe these truths from God's Word? Then receive Jesus as Savior today by praying something like this: Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need You as my Savior. Come into my heart right now. Forgive me of my sins and save me.
